Do your message justice... here's how we roll:

1. Dig Deep for Clarity - not the usual "prep work" that you can just phone it in

Not your same ol’ same ol’ questionnaire. We dig deep to set the stage for crafting copy that reflects your personality, voice and convictions. I’ll share thoughts and comments that push you further into clarity and alignment even before we get onto the phone. I'm annoyingly persistent, and my clients love me for that.

2. Discovery Call - requirement gathering that gets down to "what you REALLY want to say"

We get on the phone or skype to map out your website strategy and content direction to make sure everything aligns with your message and brand personality.

We create a structure for your website, which in turn informs the site's navigation and user experience, then map out the pages we need to write (typically around 5 pages for most clients.) We'll outline each page and identify the "essence" of what needs to be communicated on each.

3. Brain Dump - acknowledge ALL of YOU in your copy

You take the outline for each page and do a "brain dump" – I want your copy to sound like YOU. By having you write this first pass I can tap into your energy and create copy that aligns with YOU.  Plus, we want to capture everything you want to say so you have all of YOU in your copy. If part of you feels left out, your entire self simply won't get on board. 

Don't worry, you don't have to make it look pretty or sound "marketing kosher" :) - that's my job. Not body is grading you, and there's no one "right" way to say it.

4. Tada! The magic happens - well, I write your copy, that is

I take your "brain dump" and create copy for all the pages we’ve mapped out. I'll use comment and track all changes to make sure all edits make sense for you. You get fish dinner, AND learn how to fish.

We'll kick the copydeck back and forth a couple of times to tighten everything up.

5. Debrief Call - no loose end, no hanging chad

We wrap up the project with a quick call to make sure all your questions are answered, and you’ve everything you need for implementation. I know a thing or two about working with developers and I’d be happy to share with you want to look out for and what to ask for.
